Bordentown City Cats started out as a grassroots organization over twenty years ago. The local residents got together to address the huge cat problem in the neighborhood. They trapped, spayed/neutered and cared for the local cats.

Since then, the organization has grown into a group that cares for cats in the area of Bordentown City, Bordentown Township, Crosswicks, Chesterfield, Columbus, Florence and Roebling.

​BCC is a completely volunteer run cat rescue, not a shelter. All adoptable cats are housed with foster families and not in a mass facility.
